Molly Black and son Alex

Molly
Molly Black presently holds the staff  position of Family Liaison with the Pennsylvania Deafblind Project.  She volunteers as a Regional Coordinator for the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation, sits on the Board of Directors of the Parent Education and Advocacy Center (PEAL), and is a member of the Advisory Councils of the PA Deafblind Project and PAAFP’s Medical Home Project.  Supporting her family goals, has required Molly to understand the special education laws  and advocate on behalf of her son.  Those goals have included a strong conviction for inclusion of her son in his community and school, and the next natural phase of adult transition.

Molly resides in Irwin, PA, with her husband, two daughters and her 16 year old son, Alexander, who has mulitiple disabilities related to Cornelia de Lange Syndrome.
