Bonnie Bonnie Casselberry has been on the PEAL Board since its inception.She has been involved with special education for over 21 years as a Right to Education Local Task Force member since her oldest son was in need of services.She continues to be active with the Local Task Force by participating in school monitorings and as an advocate.Bonnie has also served on the Advisory Committee of the Adapted Physical Activity Program for Slippery Rock University and served two terms on the Penn State Cooperative Extension in Lawrence County Board of Directors.Bonnie and her husband, George, are the proud parents of two sons.The oldest, George, is now 22 years old.He is visually impaired and has cerebral palsy and uses a motorized wheelchair.He just graduated cum laude from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor Degree in Education, Early Learning and Child Development with a minor in Spanish and is currently interning as a docent at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh.Their other son, Joseph, just graduated from Laurel High School in Lawrence County.Bonnie, George, George, and Joseph live on a 53 acre farm near New Castle.
