Cindy Duch
Cindy is the Director of Parent Advising for the PEAL Center. Cindy lives in Hampton Township with her husband, Jim and their sons Andrew and Alex. Her career in advocacy began when her first son was diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum. In addition to her work at the PEAL Center, Cindy is the former chairperson for the Local Task Force for the Right to Education in Allegheny County, IU 3 and is currently a member there. Cindy believes that the LTF is one of the greatest hidden resources for parents of children with disabilities in the public school system. Cindy also serves the disability community as the co-chairperson of the Western PA Coalition of Education Advocates and as a peer monitor assisting the PA Department of Education in monitoring the Special Education Departments of School Districts in PA. She has a B.S.B.A. in Economics from Robert Morris College.
