WORDS OF WISDOM
From Families
Families have the expertise.  Please share your wisdom.

The PEAL Center News is featuring a forum to help families benefit from each others' experience.  We are inviting families to share wisdom they've gained from the experience of raising a child with a disability or special health care need.  Each quarterly newsletter will feature a new Hot Topic.

We invite your responses for possible publication in our next newsletter or on our website.

Current HOT TOPIC:

TRANSITIONING
from Infant/Toddler Programming to Preschool
or from Preschool to Kindergarten

QUESTIONS:
If you are a parent who has experienced the transition process at the Early Childhood level:

Q: What is a hot tip you would offer to insure a “smooth transition”?

Q: How do you prepare yourself or your child for the “First Days of School?”

Click here to share your good ideas or send your ideas to wordsofwisdom@pealcenter.org

The PEAL Center must receive your input by August 1st, 2009, to be considered for the Summer Newsletter.  If you miss the deadline, we may still be able to post some of your ideas on our website.

The PEAL Center would also like to have photos of families/and or children to consider for inclusion in our newsletter and on our website.
Once we receive photos, we will send release forms for the pictures.
