The PEAL Center Board of Directors announced today that effective February 22, 2021 Mary Hartley will transition to the position of Parent Education & Advocacy Leadership (PEAL) Center Interim Executive Director for three months.

Jeannine Brinkley is leaving PEAL to take a role at SPAN as the Director of Parent and Professional Development beginning March 1, 2021.

Mary Hartley is a disability systems-change consultant who has worked with multiple Pennsylvania organizations over the past 16 years. She is a parent advocate who got her start volunteering on the Pittsburgh Public Schools Right to Education Task Force. She has been a board member of PEAL for the last five years and is taking a leave of absence from the PEAL Board to fill the interim position.

The PEAL Center Board will begin a search committee immediately for the permanent position and send out the position posting at the beginning of March. We look forward to your support in helping us to reach throughout Pennsylvania to identify a diverse and inclusive pool of candidates for the position of PEAL Center Executive Director.
