PEAL’s Parent Advisor Named Chair of the Special Education Advisory Panel (SEAP)

Philadelphia, PA — Diane Perry, PEAL’s Parent Advisor based in the Philadelphia Office, has been named the new Chair for the Special Education Advisory Panel (SEAP). The SEAP is a panel that works to improve special education in Pennsylvania. Diane has been a key member of the education and advocacy communities for over 25 years. From early advocacy for her own child, to being a SEAP panel member, Diane has been instrumental in ensuring the family vision of inclusiveness and presumed competence of students with disabilities in their schools and communities.
As the Chairperson of SEAP, Diane will bring her vast knowledge experience and expertise to the panel and lead with great enthusiasm to improve special education supports and services for students with disabilities across Pennsylvania.
