Anya Fredrickson

Anya Fredrickson, grew up in Washington, D.C. and completed her undergraduate degree at Earlham College, in Richmond, IN, with a major in Sociology and Anthropology and minors in Museum Studies and Art History. Anya has experience with education through her work as Lead Counselor for Little Friends for Peace, where she educated 4-6 year old campers on skills for peace and nonviolence, through her internship with DC Councilmember David Grosso as an educational intern, and her own experience having dyslexia. In her free time, Anya enjoys dancing, visiting museums, and exploring Pittsburgh! She first joined PEAL as a PULSE (Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience) Fellow in August 2018 and is now the Communications & Data Management Coordinator.
