Anya Fredrickson

Anya Fredrickson, grew up in Washington, D.C. and completed her undergraduate degree at Earlham College, in Richmond, IN, with a major in Sociology and Anthropology and minors in Museum Studies and Art History. Anya has experience with education through her work at Little Friends for Peace, a non-profit working to interrupt a culture of violence with skills that prevent, resolve, and transform conflict, her work as an intern on the Education Committee for the District of Columbia Council, and her own experience of being dyslexic.

In her free time, Anya enjoys visiting museums, thrift shopping, and exploring nature. She first joined PEAL as a PULSE (Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience) Fellow, continued on with PEAL as the Communications & Data Management Coordinator for 5 years, and is now PEAL’s Director of Training.
