Icylee L. Basketbill

Icylee L. Basketbill,  is a parent of a 16-year old daughter diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Icylee volunteers as a Peer-Supporter with Parent-to-Parent of Pennsylvania and as the Parent Liaison with the LADDER Family Center Program at La Salle University. Over the years, Icylee has facilitated several parent support groups and provided resources to families as the Family Resource Coordinator for two of Philadelphia’s Autism Centers for Excellence (PACE).

Icylee is a recent graduate of Harcum College and currently attending Chestnut Hill College to obtain a bachelors in Human Services / Psychology. Icylee is currently employed as the Family and Community Liaison with the Philadelphia Autism Project at the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute under Drexel University, an Advisor with the PA Family Network at Visions For Equality, Trainer with Families First Program at Temple University Institute on Disabilities.

Icylee is also a Parent Educator who facilitates various workshops on many topics such as: Toilet Training tips for children on the Autism Spectrum, Self Care,  Challenging Behaviors and helping families to recognize the stages of emotions when receiving a diagnosis for the individual with Autism and Special Needs.
