Jenny Chen
Jenny Chen lives in Delaware County with her family. She has personal experience raising a child who receives special education services. She is a parent advocate for her son and utilizes her experience and knowledge to help other Asian/Chinese families. She has been an active parent known to state nonprofit organizations with the core mission to educate, support and empower parents and caregivers in the area of special education and disability rights. She is a graduate from Temple University on Disabilities C2P2 Advocacy Leadership Program.
Before working at PEAL, Jenny used to work for a prestigious immigration law firm in Philadelphia, helping Chinese investors file legal documents at different immigration phrases with USCIS. She will be working with PEAL as a Mandarin speaking Family Resources Specialist to help Pennsylvania families whose native language is Mandarin.
Jenny has a master’s degree both in Human Resources from University of Cincinnati and in Economics from University of International Business and Economics (Beijing) .
